Your examination will usually take 30 minutes, but may take longer if necessary.

There is much more to an eye examination than just having your sight tested and vision corrected. We offer the latest techniques to enhance our evaluation of the ocular health of your eyes. Many diseases can be detected during an eye examination. Some of these diseases develop slowly and may not have any symptoms initially. This is why it is important to have your eyes examined regularly. Early detection could reduce the risk of diseases such as Glaucoma, Diabetes, Macula Degeneration and Cataracts from becoming sight threatening.

We have high resolution retinal cameras that can show the earliest signs of eye disease, which do not always show up with standard forms of examination. These retinal images are permanently saved for future comparison and are also extremely useful at monitoring the progression of any complications.

We also use a Medmont Topographer for the analysis corneal distortion and detection of diseases such as keratoconus. Using these high definition images of the corneal surface helps us find the best contact lens to fit your eye.
